Avoid Being Derailed in the Silly Season



The Silly Season is a fun time of year; there are lots of parties, gatherings, food and alcohol, and time with loved ones and friends. There are lots of things that can throw us out of our regular rhythm, encroach on our healthy habits and derail the progress we've made during the year. 

It's important at this time of year to give your body a break. Make sure you're still taking some time out for exercise, even if it's just an evening walk in the nice weather! Try to fill your plate with lots of whole veggies and always have a glass of water between alcoholic drinks. Rest is also important as it allows us to recharge, especially if this is a stressful time of year for you. Try your best to maintain a healthy sleep schedule where you can. 

Most importantly, remember to have fun whilst not getting completely derailed.
